Polikarpov Law Firm advised RK-GAMES LLC on the preparation, execution, and registration of a trademark licence agreement involving the ROYAL brand (Certificate No. 303936, Class 41), used for gaming, gambling, and entertainment services. The trademark was licensed on a non-exclusive basis to VIN GAMES LLC for use within Ukraine.
The scope of work included drafting a legally robust licence agreement that conformed to the Ukrainian IP Office’s recordation requirements, while also protecting the licensor’s brand standards through clear quality control clauses, defined territory, and termination mechanisms. The licence permitted trademark use across a wide range of digital and offline gaming-related contexts, including advertising and domain name deployment.
Polikarpov Law Firm successfully managed the subsequent registration of the licence agreement with Ukrainian IP Office, ensuring its enforceability and public recognition. The recorded licence formalized the commercial relationship between the parties and enhanced the trademark’s legal standing within Ukraine’s IP system.
